Traditional front paths and walls in Heaton Mersey
Here's a landscaping job recently completed by GT Landscapes and Construction on two adjoining homes in Heaton Mersey, Stockport. The work was done in a traditional style and using a mix of new and reclaimed building materials, including rebuilding all the walls on both houses in the original Accrington brick.
We also had the stone copings sand blasted clean so that they could be reused and matched up new stone steps so that it's all still in keeping. Both paths were tiled using clay quarry tiles and edged with the old clay rope edgings. We were delighted with the finished result and so was the client, as you can see from the testimonial below:
From the initial meeting with Mike and Gavin it was obvious they had a real enthusiasm for the project.
I had a clear picture of how I wanted things to look and was pleased how they listened and converted my scribbles and notes into the finished job. It was nice to feel involved in the project.
The consistent quality of the brickwork, tiling and attention to detail throughout the project matched my high expectations. Gavin was able to work with all different reclaimed materials and combine them to produce a high quality finish across the whole project.
